One of the things I missed the most about living in the bay area was a big city. Well, now we are just a train ride away to the Big Apple...NYC! A week after we land in our new home state we took a train to New York! We headed up to Central Park and ended our day at B&H photo....of course! We walked a ton, I wore the wrong shoes and am still paying for it today, thank goodness for Niketown. We hit Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, American Girl Doll Store, Lego Store and a few others in between!  

4th of July

It was a great day to celebrate the USA! We started the day walking to the local town's main street for a small town parade. The cannon's fired and the parade began. The littles were unsure at first but once they saw all the candy being thrown their way they got really into the parade.  Little Miss said it was the best parade ever! After the parade we enjoyed a picnic at the park. Such a fun day celebrating our independence and freedom!
