1500 Miles, 1 Image ~ River

Friday, February 2, 2018

Located on the South Branch of the Raritan River is a town called Clinton.  There, you can find one of the most photographed spots in New Jersey....an old red grist mill built in 1810 right on the water.  We have been wanting to go to Clinton for awhile now, the town always seems to pop up on some type of New Jersey's favorite list.  It was a cute little town with a quaint main street and many friendly people. We spent a couple hours exploring the local shops and then we headed home.

    1. Yes it is one of the most photographed spots! It is a cute little town. I would love to explore more of the mill one day. It was closed when we were there!

    1. I don't think there is a restaurant in the mill, it was closed when we were visited so I am not sure. There was a litte "village" to explore too. We will have to go back when it is open and see what that was all about. There were places to eat on the river on the other side! Looked cute!
